Lars was a soldier after his school years. He served nine months of basic military service with the Kongelige Livgarde, an infantry regiment of the Danish army. He wasn't sure if it was the right choice for him and he started to search for something else and eventually decided to go into biology. While he was occupied with this , which was already half a year, Anette came home from a juggler class and showed him how good she could play juggling in just three days. Lars was amazed and wanted to learn more. He dropped out of college to go to a juggling school. He was trained in fire breathing and Juggling at this school. Then he traveled with two of his friends through Europe performing as touring artists performing in cities such as Paris, Munich and Moscow. He was introduced into a children's circus two more years later. There he also learned street and children's theater pantomime.
