Miesha Theresa

Miesha Theresa Tate has been a mixed martial artist for more than a decade. She is also an experienced mixed martial arts expert. Tate was a participant in the Ultimate Fighting Championships and was a UFC Women's Bantamweight champion. Born in Tacoma, Washington, she played a lot of sports throughout her childhood. When she was a student at Central Washington University Central Washington University, she was a member of the club for mixed martial art because it was recommended by someone she knew. At her first amateur match, she took on Elizabeth Posener (a Muay Thai expert) aged 20. Her debut as a professional fighter at the HOOKnSHOOT one-night women's Grand Prix, which took place in 2007. In two years she became the FCF Women's Bantamweight Champion for the very first time. Tate was praised and appreciated for her fighting style and her use of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as well as wrestling. The popularity of her style increased after she received an award called the Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Championship shortly following her win.
