Bashar Jackson, who was also popularly known as Pop Smoke, his nickname on stage Pop Smoke (July 20th 1999-February 19th 2020), was an American singer and songwriter. Pop Smoke was signed by Victor Victor Worldwide and Republic Records. Pop Smoke gained popularity as producer of Brooklyn drill artist by collaborating together with UK producer 808Melo Axl Beats & Yoz Beatz. Welcome to the Party, the first single from his mixtape debut Meet the Woo released in July of 2019, was released by him on April 19, 2019. Two remixes were recorded of the track Welcome to the Party in August 2019 and featured American Rapper Nicki Minaj and British rapper Skepta. The pop-rocker's breakthrough track Welcome to the Party was first released in April. The track is the initial single off his mixtape debut Meet the Woo. In August 2019, the single was remixed twice: the first time featuring Nicki Minaj featuring and another version featuring Skepta. The track stands out due to it's use of UK drills, as seen later on in his discography. Eight08Melo's collaboration with British drill maker 808Melo are the reason for this. Mpr Flexin is yet another track well-known. Due to the popularity in the release of Welcome to the Party he worked with popular musicians on singles such as: War featuring Lil Tjay and 100k on a Coupe featuring Calboy. Gatti The final track from The album JackBoys album (2019) composed by Scott as well as Cactus' Jack's members as well as JackBoys were released in December 2019.
