Laura Linney
Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964 in New York, New York U.S.A. She is an American actor who has a reputation for playing tough, yet vulnerable characters. Linney is from a theatre heritage, her father is the playwright Romulus Linney. She studied Arts Theatre School at Moscow, then graduated with her M.F.A. from Juilliard School. New York City, 1990. She started performing immediately in the city on Broadway receiving awards for roles such as Six Degrees of Separation or Hedda Galer.
